The long awaited Liberia Music Awards ceremony is finally here and artist from Monrovia have already taken over Atlanta, Georgia, to grace the occasion. According to Tmz Liberia Magazine Atlanta correspondent, big name artists from Liberia are already in the “Peach State” and are fire up for the event scheduled for Saturday June 14th at 5:00 p.m eastern standard time.

Tmz Liberia Magazine later contacted the executive director of the Liberia Music Awards Foundation, Mr. Kaifa Yamah, and he confirmed that several Liberia based artist have arrived and in high spirit for the event.

Those named are David Mell, Shadow, Benevee, J.D Donzo, Bernice Blackie, D12, Pitty D Best, Infectious Micheal, DSP, and Tan Tan. More artists are expected to arrive later today.

Exclusive photos coming from the ATL showed artist from Liberia touring the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center, where the program is scheduled to take place. Artist David Mell, Tan Tan, and the Lib Princess, Munnah were among those caught touring the facility in an exclusive photo that was sent to Tmz Liberia Magazine.

The Gwinnett Performing Arts Center at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway Duluth, GA 3009, seem to be a weekend getaway for Liberian music enthusiasts as they scramble for tickets to the biggest event showcasing Liberian music.

Tmz Liberia Magazine source on that ground has confirmed that tickets to this historic event are almost sold out.

The Liberia Music Awards Foundation which was founded to facilitate the exposure, promotion and celebration of Liberian music has already made history bringing together Liberian artist from around the world for he first time, to showcase Liberia musical talents.

The event is the first of its kind in the history of Liberian music, that recognizes and honors artist, producers, DJs, and all those who have contributed to Liberian music.
